Summer News from Aroma

As another academic year comes to a close, Aroma remains busy planning more events, working with and recruiting more ambassadors, and getting involved with a number of local events.

Applications have now closed for financial support, and results will soon be publicised!

We are very pleased to announce two new ambassadors:

Chefs Catering, based in Lancaster, are an incredible group! Chefs Sam and Josh are incredible cooks, and have worked in some very exciting restaurants. Like Aroma, Chefs Catering put their profits to

good use. Whilst Aroma offers help and support to secondary school students, Chefs Catering use their profits to ensure primary school children all receive a healthy and nutritious breakfast to set them up well for a day of learning. Chef Sam and Josh came and helped out at Restaurant UVHS event and were a great source of inspiration to the students there. We are really excited to be working with them!

Seasons Bakery also join us as new ambassadors. This award winning bakery produces stunning produce, and they have a real environment friendly ethos which is great to see. Excitingly, they are about to open an artisan baking school where budding cooks can learn the tricks of the trade from the experts.

Find out about both ambassadors by checking out the 'ambassador' section of our website.

Aroma was at Skelton show recently where our Founder, Nick Hall was a guest judge overseeing the food entries from children at surrounding schools. It was an incredible day, and the quality of the food was sublime! Obviously it was very difficult having to eat so much food, but somebody has to do it!

Plans are well under way for upcoming events. We will be back at Penrith Cricket Club in February for another joint fundraiser after the success of this years event. We are also teaming up with Hello Future to offer a foodie cooking day for Year 9 students in the Summer Holidays! We will be creating a very seasonal and modern afternoon tea.
